A letter from Lois to her parents, Donald and Elsie, updating them on the children's persistent colds, discussing her many sewing projects, reporting on her work at the clinic, commenting on the children's development in speaking both English and Spanish, describing the new washing set up they have arranged using a charcoal fire to heat the water, and sharing that while the political situation is becoming increasingly uneasy the family is still safe.
